Surayyah Ahmad Sani

Surayyah Ahmad is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She is a Laidlaw-AfOx Scholar and a member of Reuben College.

Surayyah is a General Partner at Aduna Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on tech-enabled startups in underserved regions of Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, and Gambia. She is also a founding partner at TTLabs, an accelerator supporting entrepreneurs from underserved areas and female founders.With extensive experience in venture capital, Surayyah has guided numerous startups through fundraising and market strategies. She has contributed to the AI for Development Reference Group with UNDP & Microsoft in Nigeria and chairs the Northern Founders Community, which promotes entrepreneurship in Northern Nigeria.

Recognized for her dedication to economic development and female empowerment, Surayyah was named Young Female Business Professional of the Year (UK) in 2023 and received the 50 Inspiring Northern Women Impact Award in 2022. Her insights on technology and startups have been featured in Bloomberg and The Guardian.

Her academic background includes a Master’s in Digital Product Management from Boston University and a BA (Hons) in Business and Economics from the University of Hertfordshire.

After completing her MBA, she aims to drive investments in female-led startups and advance Africa’s economic growth.
