Prince Donald Forghab

Prince Donald Forghab is pursuing a Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. He is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar and a member of Somerville College.

With over six years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, Prince has held leadership roles, including founding the Buea Hub of the Global Shapers Community. A passionate writer and debater, he runs a popular LinkedIn newsletter with over 3,000 subscribers.

Prince is a Programme Facilitator at Open Dreams NGO, where he has helped over 200 high-achieving, low-income students access educational opportunities. A graduate and valedictorian of the Protestant University of Central Africa, he co-founded the Development and Emergency Relief Initiative (DERI), an organization that leverages technology to strengthen and document humanitarian interventions in Cameroon. He is also a YALI Dakar Regional Fellow, a programme of the US government aimed at training Africa’s next generation of ethical leaders.

After completing his MPP at Oxford, Prince aims to work as a consultant and policy lead at the African Union, focusing on poverty alleviation and promoting African integration through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
