Aimée Dushime

Aimée is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from  Strathmore University, Nairobi. She is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Said Business School, University of Oxford, as a member of Mansfield College. She is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar. 

With over six years of consulting experience, Aimée has had the opportunity to work in multiple countries, including Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.  Currently, she works in the Deal Advisory department at KPMG. Aimée writes about economic growth opportunities in emerging markets. She has co-authored a book, and some of her work has been published on platforms such as Bloomberg, International Tax Notes, and the World Economic Forum.

Outside of her work, Aimée is dedicated to creating positive change in her community. She is a member of the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum and has previously served as the Curator and Vice Curator. Additionally, she founded Je Suis Lecteur, a project aimed at promoting a reading culture for children in Rwanda. Aimée is also a 2023 Aspen Rising Leader Fellow and a Mandela Washington Fellow for Young African Leaders.

After her MBA, she aspires to proactively contribute towards key investments and economic growth in Africa.
